New updates for: Spitfire - February 29, 2020

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog while we are discovering new things in 2020. And nothing like a good Blog to entertain you. For today, I'll be showing new renders of the British Spitfire Mk. IX after the recent updates on its structure. It's looking good so far. What I did was: I added the reinforced glass and framing for the cockpit, the air intake below the fuselage (precisely the 'nose'), the propellers, the non-retractable landing gear on the tail, a small adjustment on the roundels (though I have to adjust the roundel on the fuselage again), new rudder, elevator and antenna  for the aircraft . The next step to do is the landing gear - both on the wings and the tailplane; the cockpit components like the pilot seat, navigation panel, navigation lights, a nice texture and rigging the Spitfire. In case I plan to make the previous versions of the Spitfire - like the Mk. I and Mk. V; or the Mk. XIV version,

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog while we are discovering new things in 2020. And nothing like a good Blog to entertain you. For this Blog, I'm going to talk about new adjustments of the P-51D Mustang, the P-38 Lightning and a new project I started recently: Supermarine Spitfire. Let me show you the new renders of the P-51 Mustang: Looking good. The Mustang received a new pair of navigation lights and a pair of bombs. In addition, I attached the aircraft to the Armature after appending it from the P-38 project. It has the propeller spinning animation, which will save me from hard work. But still, I have to make more animations for the P-51 Mustang. Now, the P-38 Lightning. It is  fully rigged and has other animations like:  landing gear retracting during flight and landing, canopy hatch opening/closing, neutral pose, flight pose and land pose. Yet, I have to make the animations for the Fowler flaps, but the flight control com

Claymore - Rafaela and Jean (new project)

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog while we are discovering new things in 2020. And nothing like a good Blog to entertain you. After the previous Blog I wrote of the new projects I started of new Claymore characters on Blender ( Claymore - Galatea and Rafaela (new project) ), I decided to make Rafaela - the previous Number 5 of Clare's era and Number 2 of her time and her sister Luciela. With her spaulders ready, all what I need to do is adjust it to fit in her shoulders and make a small change on her head. Let me show you the renders: Nice. What I did is: Since the head model has the Mirror modifier applied, I extruded the edges of her left socket and created a new face with F button (the 'pay respect' button as most gamers would say) once I have the ideal spot. The scar itself has be made on the new texture since its UV Mapping required a re-mapping. The eye, eyebrows, lashes and eyelids has the Mirror modifier applied, with

Claymore - Galatea and Rafaela (new project)

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog while we are discovering new things in 2020. And nothing like a good Blog to entertain you. Following the previous Blog I wrote of the new projects I started of new Claymore characters on Blender, I came with the idea of making two more projects with the same topic, this time with Galatea and Rafaela - two of the 5 strongest warriors in the Organization. Like the previous blog ( Claymore - Miria and Helen (new project) ), the focus on these projects are their spaulders as the first thing to do before making the  own characters. Let's start with the former Number 3 and Eye of the Organization: God-Eye Galatea. For Galatea's spaulders, I reused the first edge from Miria's spaulders to extrude the faces until the object gains the shape of the Number 3's armor piece. Like I said in the previous blog, I have some images of her from the anime to help me making it. The lower part was a copy from

Claymore - Miria and Helen (new project)

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog while we are discovering new things in 2020. And nothing like a good Blog to entertain you. For this blog, I visited some of my previous projects related to Claymore since I lay low for a while after my trip to celebrate Christmas and Happy New Year. But for today, I decided to bring back that series into activity and nothing like two amazing characters from Claymore. The characters of this choice are Miria and Helen. Let's start with the former Number 6 and captain of The Ghosts: Phantom Miria. For Miria's spaulders, I used a different object to model the upper section of it on Blender while reusing the lower section from the original spaulders. Since I have some images of her from the anime, I could only count on that and my best shot to make it. For one hand, it's looking good  so far . And now let me show you the former Number 22: Helen. Unlike Miria's spaulders, I
