New updates for: A6M 'Zero' - December 11, 2022
Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog in 2022.
December arrived and the year is close to the end, same goes for my job contract at the public health center - scheduled to end on December 31, 2022. Yet, December 31 is a Saturday, so I will work until December 30 since the weekends and holidays weren't included in my timesheet. Still, I guess I'll have to go after another civil service exam while I wait for the call for the selection process for attendant.
For this month, my university semester has been concluded - allowing me to rest while my addition to my service at the public health center is still in course. And again, Warframe introduced the new Nightwave intermission chapter (Oh God, not again). Fortunately, my work schedule was modified in mid-November due to the vacation of one of the attendants and the transfer of another to the warehouse sector after the employee in that area had been approved in a civil service exam. The new working hours will be permanent until the end of my contract.
Alright. With nothing else to add, let's go for the Blog. For today, I'm going to bring new images of the Mitsubishi A6M2 'Zero' Model 21. I finally concluded it yesterday. Let me show you what I did.
Alright. What I did was: I painted some blue stripes around the Zero's fuselage and rudders. As far I recently learned, the two blue stripes represented the planes transported by the Hiryū carrier. There are other different stripe colors to represent other Japanese carriers like Akagi and Kaga (the ones I'm familiar after Kantai Collection or Kancolle and Azur Lane - manga / anime series of humanized WW2 warships); one with one red stripe, one or two white stripes, two red stripes and a yellow stripe at the rudder and more.
In addition, I painted a red square at the wings, the smoke coming out from the engine outlets on the wings, the yellow stripes from the forward section of the wings and some stripes located on the fairings. Unless I would include the texture for the instrument panel, the serial number and letters, this Japanese air fighter is now complete. I may plan to include the lines for the metal sheet spacing, but I'm going to do that in the future.
In the meantime, I rendered some images of the A6M2 flying. Have fun.
Amazing. Don't you agree? Although I'm not Japanese, I always find this aircraft one of the most gracious and one of the symbols of once a great nation formed by the samurai - bound by honor and the sword.
I duplicated the main collection to have a second Zero plane. This one is going to be the wingman for the main aircraft. Also, I duplicated the propeller blades for the high-speed version during flight and dogfight - like I did for the P-38 Lightning. I'll do the same for the other piston-engine aircraft.
After these renders, I picked up the first image to make a montage on Gimp 2. It's available at my Instagram, Facebook page and ArtStation.
Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
