New updates for: He 111H and concluding G.55 Centauro - January 29, 2025

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog here to start 2025.

I know. New year, new big surprises, new big changes and new updates related to my 3D projects.

Now that I'm working on the new role as health community agent, my colleagues and I are visiting the families as part of our job to improve the health quality in our community and town. Things are looking good and we're enjoying in our new role.

And, again, new Nightwave chapter is complete and the 1999 quest is complete. Yet, DE is planning to bring the next Nora Mix after this week. (NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!)

Note: I don't share too often my gaming content in my Blogs. I don't like the idea of mixing gaming content with other artistic contents there or to relate anything in kind.

But that story will be for another time. For this Blog, I'm going to share you some news and more images of the Heinkel He 111 H-1 / H-3 and the Fiat G.55 Centauro.

Heinkel He 111 H model (H-1 / H-3 / H-6):

The Heinkel He 111 received the Bump texture, with the lines being drawn at some moments. Fortunately I got several pictures and blueprints from different angles - which will assist me of concluding this German bomber. Although some sections had to be reduced in size - especially the underside of the elevator and tail horizontal, the details won't be affected.

The tail fin-flash has been resized a little bit and minor adjustments were made for the flaps. The minor issue is the wing root passing through the gondola section. Although it won't be a problem after the interior is made, I may use Alpha masks to hide it or make some adjustments to eliminate the excess. But that will be for another time.

Fiat G.55 Centauro:

The G.55 received a big update on its model. I finally concluded the main texture by baking it with Blender. The 'Bake' option is used to merge all the Nodes to create a single image, as long you add an empty image as an Image Texture Node, otherwise it won't work.

With the upper section of the Italian plane made, I used Gimp to combine it with the lower section, similar thing to the decals and the smoke from the engine exhaustion ports and guns.

Other components added were the pilot seat and the stick.

After that, I started working on its Bump texture, then the Metal and Specular.

Amazing, huh? The Fiat G.55 Centauro in its current appearance. I added the 'Centauro Serie 1' writing next to the tail horizontal. Not all G.55s had it painted on the fuselage before being sent to the front. Still, it looks great.

I plan to retain this texture as the main one. I have plans of adding other paintings for this Italian aircraft, including some that served in other countries like Argentina, Egypt and Syria. Personally, I find the Egyptian and the Italian paintings the most beautiful. I could have painted a white background for the ANR roundels in the upper section of the wings, but this one will do.

Without anything else to add (except the bombs for the future), I'll mark it as 'Complete'. The G.55 Centauro is my second 3D model finished in 2025. The 3D model is available in my Sketchfab:

For this year, I plan to conclude most of my 3D models before starting a new one. I know that I have countless projects to complete in order to resume my Unity projects.

Speaking of Unity, probably this year I'll resume my mini-game projects.

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you like this Blog. Welcome to 2025. Let us hope this year bring us new content and something different from the usual. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
