New updates for: Meteor and Kübelwagen - October 8th, 2023

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog in 2023. We are now on October 8th - past the half of 2023. Now that I'm working and my 7th semester has started, my time for Blogs decreased to some occasions. At least it is good to be back at work.

I'm still waiting for any news related to the new civil service exam of this year - with some to the education and health departments; and the subscriptions to be open in case I plan to apply for another public job. Like I said before, I may give it a shot, but it will be the same thing as before - Reserve my days and my spare-time for study. If I fail, it would be another civil service performed, with my money being spent for nothing.

For the calling process to work as a teacher, I definitely gave up due to the lack/low number of vacancies for mathematics teachers. My mom said for December they might re-open the subscriptions. However, I'm not sure I plan to do that in case I'm going to wait for too long until they reach to my position and then I announce my interest for that vacancy.

Enough of that, let's go for the important. For today, I'm going to share you the new rendered images of the German Kübelwagen and the British Meteor.

Volkswagen Typ 82 Kübelwagen:

The Kübelwagen received the same material my brother helped me for the tanks, with the respective colors for German vehicles. The only thing I think it's off on the Kübel is the dirt aspect inside. Although in sand or snow environment this might give you some unclean effect, the dirt effect might need some adjustments.

Another thing that I added is the mounted MG34, the rear light, the base for the extra wheel and the engine exhaustion outlet. I always try my best to make something incredible - close enough to the original vehicles from that time. After these renders, I was working on the dashboard, the dynamo (the box that I thought to be the glove compartment) and the rework of the front axle.

Speaking on the front axle, I tried my best to find more images related to that component. One of the guys I found on YouTube talked of a British full report of all components after dismanteling some units after World War 2. I'll share it's link here.

The Humber Report on Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen:

The next components are the hood (I plan to make it in stowed mode instead of extended in case of sand storm / raining / snowing weather) and the right-sided mirror; then I'll rig the German Kübelwagen and make a nice texture for sand, snow and forest camo.

Gloster Meteor F.4:

The Gloster Meteor Mk IV / F.4 received its ailerons and landing gears. I had to search for more images while making it. Although a little tricky to make the doors for the forward carriage by adding a new subdivision on the fuselage, I managed to make it and get some interesting results. Same thing for the wings and the ailerons.

The next components are the doors for the wings carriage, the flaps, the cockpit main components, a nice texture and rigging it. Similar to the Messerschmitt Me 262, there won't be a Bone for the propeller, but I may do something different in case I'd animate the engines powering up. Who knows in the future I may render a battle simulation between the Meteor and the Me 262.

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you like this Blog. I don't have updates from my original works to share you. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
