New Updates for: P-40N Warhawk and Claymore Rafaela - April 18, 2021

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog during this quarantine phase while the World makes their best to find a (possible) cure for the COVID-19 pandemic. And since this year is starting to unfold for us, nothing like a good Blog to entertain you.

For this Blog, I'm going to show you the new adjustments of the P-40N Warhawk after my last Blog here. Now that I'm working at the health center from where I live, my time to work on my Blender projects is reduced to my short intervals after my studies during breaks of my shift, having extra time on holidays and weekends.

Still, let me show you what I did so far.

Amazing. I included the American roundels for the P-40 Warhawk. Some versions of the Curtiss P-40 has different roundels according to the year, like the American roundel with red lines, only the blue circle and white star with / without the red circle and others.

Aside from the American Roundels, I included other roundels from the other nations the P-40 served during and after WW2.

USA Air Force

Brazilian Air Force through Lend-Lease to Brazil

Royal Air Force through Lend-Lease to the Great Britain

Republic of China Air Force from the Flying Tigers (the Nationalists of China)

Soviet Air Force through Lend-Lease to the Soviet Union

Impressive those roundels. Some had the Mirror modifier applied and adjusted on the UV Mapping tools to match with some images I foung on Google.

I know this changes are little, like adding decals compared to add the flaps, ailerons, cockpit internal components, the spacing on the wings for the landing gears and the texture in case I'll make the RAF camouflage pattern like the Spitfire, Hurricane, Typhoon, Tempest, Lancaster, Stirling, Handley Page, Beaufighter, Blenheim and other RAF planes that fought in WW2.

In the future, I'll make the ailerons, the sights, flaps, the spacing on the wings for the landing gears, the texture and rigging the plane.

Before I conclude this Blog, I'll return with Claymore - my favorite Dark Fantasy anime / manga series. And the character of choice is Rafaela.

Amazing. Don't you agree? After my last Blog update of Rafaela (Claymore - Rafaela and Jean (new project)), I knew she was bald. For that I decided to make her hair with the appended Bezier Curves from the project of a second female human character. I not sure I'll upload some of the images of her here due to the initial renders. Probably I'll share the images to another Blogspot.

Back to Rafaela. After the hair, the next components to make are the buckles, vambrances, chausses and sabatons. However, due to my time being limited to weekends and holidays, I guess I'll make these components for another time. And I have the other characters to make their armor pieces, except for Miria, Galatea, Rafaela, Helen and Clare spaulders. As for the others like Deneve, Flora, Ophelia and Undine, these ones must be made.

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.

Note: Don't you dare to download these images and re-share it without my permission. If you do, please, leave the original author name.
