P-38 Lightning, M1 Garand and Noel

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog here. The year is passing faster when I'm attending to work, 3D projects, videos, playing games, writing stories and more. And as we are going to the second week of November, let's go for another Blog.

For this one, I'm going to bring the updates of my different projects. Let's start with the Lockheed P-38 Lightning:

I know I haven't brought new renders of the P-38 Lightning. I was busy with Claymore and playing video games in these last days that made me to forgot some things related to my Blogger / Blogspot. Speaking of which, I made a big update on my Blogspot as you can see now. Instead of that simple and standard layout, TonyAnima Projects Blogspot has a nice cover and details.

Back to the P-38 Lightning: I made new textures for the wings, cockpit, nacelles and turbochargers. Also, I made a new seat for the pilot and the control instrument. The next thing to make is the targeting component from where the pilot can target enemy aircraft and a big rework on the fuselage.

For the other projects, I'm going to change a little bit from what I'm used for this Blog's content. One of the things I enjoy the most - still related to military content and a bit of WWII - is the M1 Garand rifle. I brought it on my last video when I was talking about the new projects of Teresa and Sophia from Claymore. Search it by this times-temp: 22:10

Since I'm going to show you the recent renders of the M1 Garand, take a look at them:

I always like the M1 Garand after playing Heroes & Generals for some time. In case you don't what it is, the M1 Garand was the U.S. main rifle that fought in WWII to the Vietnam War - until its replacement by the M14 rifle. Developed by John/Jean Cantius Garand (a French from Canada) at the Springfield Armory in 1928 and largely produced in September of 1937, the M1 Garand counted with an internal magazine fed by .30-06 Springfield projectiles in a metal clip of 8 rounds. And one of the most iconic thing about this rifle is the sound from the ejected clip after the last shot, making a loud "pinging" noise (the popular 'PING!' from movies, TV series, video-games and more). During WWII, General George S. Patton said the M1 was "the greatest battle implement ever devised" due to its vantages when compared to other semiautomatic rifles like the German Gewehr 43 and the Soviet Tokarev SVT models 38 and 40; and the bolt-action rifles like the British Lee Enfield, the German Karabiner 98k, the Soviet Mosin Nagant, the Japanese Arisaka Type 99, the Italian Carcano Modello 38 and few other rifles from that time.

As for the renders, I enjoyed those when you're aiming the rifle; and the clip being ejected after the last shot. If you want that majestic sound for those rendered images, here it is:

And, just to conclude this Blog: Number 5 Noel from Claymore.

I decided to make her hair while revisiting that Hairstyle file on Blender. Then, I came with the idea of making the hair for one of my favorite characters from Claymore. It's still under development and I plan to make it in video for TonyAnima Projects Youtube Channel.
I may reuse it for Deneve's hair - same thing with Irene's hair for Jean's.

Reminder: I still need to fix Priscilla's, Irene's and Teresa's buckles; and make Sophia's armor pieces. That means I have a considerable work on Blender. Since my brother and I have one computer with Blender and we work on the mornings and afternoons, my time directed on Blender is quite occasional - even more with Nightwave Intermission II rolling now (damn).

Also, I started a small time-lapse video series of making Noel on Blender. Take a look on it:

Well, enough for this Blog. I hope you enjoy it. I plan to share more artworks and other things I did in my time. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see it. See you next time.
