New video and updates for: Bf 109 E - November 28, 2019
Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog here.
The year is almost ending, and before December comes, let's write another Blog of 2019.
For today, I uploaded a new video for TonyAnima Projects' YouTube channel, continuing the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E project on Blender.
In the video, I decided to make the wings with a different object instead of re-using the main fuselage like I did for the exclusive model at my moments when I'm not recording for the channel. Also, I made the landing gears initial components in case I move on to make some "holes" for where those gears are drawn during flight.
The original time from which the recorded video had without intro and closure totaled 1 hour, 10 minutes and 28 seconds. This one had a considerable amount of time for a person to watch without that short speed duration.
Without anything else to say, let's go for the rendered images. I know I shared some of the renders after the timelapse, but there's a new batch of rendered images - those are from a small test with materials:
Impressive. Don't you agree? What I did is: I picked up some vertices from the nose of the Bf 109 and the tip of its wings and applied a secondary material without using UV mapping. On Blender, you can do that by selecting the desired faces and press Assign with the material you want that part to have. In this case, I assigned the yellow material for the nose and the wings' tips.
Keep in mind, this is but a test. That means, I'll change it by a proper texture after all components are made. For the decals, I guess I'll have to use images or planes and fit them into the skin.
The next thing to do is: some adjustments on the wings for the landing gear without unnecessary changes, the Pitot tube, landing gears, the exhaustion components, mass balance controls on the ailerons, the cockpit components, and the canopy. After that, I'll texture it and make the rigging procedures.
With this aircraft and the P-38 Lightning in their concluded stage, I'll make some short animation movies for test and probably some aircraft simulator on Unity.
Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you like this new Blog. I plan to share more artworks and other things I did in my time. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see it. See you next time.
