Concluding the P-38 Lightning - March 6th, 2024

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog in 2024.

I know I've been absent for a while without a new Blog. I'm still working as a receptionist at the public health center where I live and my 7th semester has started. That means, my time for Blogs decreased to some occasions.

The town hall is calling the candidates from the civil service exam - firstly for the doctor on duty, nurse on duty, ambulance driver, pharmaceutical and psychologist. I'm still I'm waiting to be called to work as a community health agent or as a receptionist, despite they called the first candidate and he accepted it. For now I must wait. There's a chance they might call me after they inaugurate the new public health center, dedicated for specialized doctors (pediatrics, cardiologist, ginecologist, physiotherapist and nutritionist).

For the calling process to work as a teacher, I definitely gave up due to the lack/low number of vacancies for mathematics teachers.

Nightwave intermission chapter is complete, so I don't have to worry about it.

Enough of Warframe, let's go to the important thing in this Blog. I'm going to share you the P-38 Lightning. Unlike the renders I'm used to share you in my Blogs, I'm going to share the links to the models that are now available in my Sketchfab.

After my last Blog I wrote with the last renders of the P-38 Lightning (New updates for: P-38 Lightning - September 22, 2023) and the one telling the new Sketchfab account I created, I decided to upload my first model there. And nothing better than the P-38 as my first 3D project I started in Blender.

Now here's one thing: I'm not planning of allowing the download of my models in case you ask me. Probably I plan to allow the download by purcharse. I know some people may not like the idea, but some things are not totally for free. And I don't plan to put high prices on my models, because the level of detail may not the same as most people would share their 3D models in low-polygon / low-triangle aspects. Still, I hope you understand it.

To conclude this Blog, here are the images of the American aircraft.

Amazing huh? I changed the lighting with a World ambience effect. The idea is to replace the Lights (Sun / Point / Lamp and other objects that could emit light) by setting up the ambient lighting in the World option. I plan to record a tutorial in how to use the World option in Blender.

Another change was the textures for the P-38 Lightning and the decals. The idea is to paint some dirt / smoke effects on the components' surface for a worn-up object / vehicle. Some people like to add these effects for a more realistic detail - just to give the impression of not all things remain so clean and new.

With the P-38 Lightning ready, I plan to make the animations after my first attempt that I shared on YouTube. I'm not sure I'll use the 2.93.5 version or the 4.0 version for the animations. But that would be for another time. Alright?

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you like this Blog. Let us hope this year bring us new content and something different from the usual. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
