New updates for: Crusader, Sketchfab and some changes on my Facebook page - February 16, 2024
Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog in 2024.
I know I've been absent for a while without a new Blog. I'm still working as a receptionist at the public health center where I live and my 7th semester has started. That means, my time for Blogs decreased to some occasions.
As you know, I passed in the civil service exams for community health agent as first place and eighth for receptionist. But I'm going to take the community health agent vacancy because it's a good role with good pay conditions. Now I have to wait for the town hall's calling for the vacancies.
For the calling process to work as a teacher, I definitely gave up due to the lack/low number of vacancies for mathematics teachers.
As always, my brother and I reached the max level of the new Nightwave intermission chapter. Fortunately we don't have to worry for the next weeks being skipped. Don't get me wrong, but in the long term Nightwave gets annoying without a nice story while DE only brings cosmetics, some nice mods, Forma, Arcanes and other things (some are like "Mehhhh!" and others are like "Yeeeyyyyy!")
Enough of Warframe, let's go to the important thing in this Blog. I'm going to show you the new renders of the Crusader tank Mk III.
The Crusader received a major update on its tracks, top plate and wheels. I had to adjust the vertices and edges to redesign the wheels to split from the T-34. The tracks were imported from the Panzer IV, with some adjustments based on photos and images. So far, it's looking good.
The chassis was redesigned, although there are some things requiring more references. I moved the antenna to the turret, then I duplicated it. Extra plates were added to the chassis, along the storage box behind the turret and a Besa machine gun next to the 57 mm Ordnance QF 6-pounder gun. The lights were rearranged as well.
The chassis and the rear wheels requires some adjustments as my next step for the Crusader. Then I shall make the sights, the hatches, the rest of the chassis, the engine exhaustion outlets and extra components. After that, I'll make its texture and rigging.
Before concluding this Blog, there are two last things to share you.
The first one is that I created a new account in Sketchfab. As I mentioned in one of my Blogs (T-34 (new project) and new ideas for sharing my 3D works - August 5th, 2023), I always take a look at some of the 3D works made by several people. Some of them share their works to ArtStation. Since I have an account there, I plan to share my 3D models to Sketchfab and sharing it to my ArtStation profile.
The first model I tested to upload in Sketchfab is the P-38 Lightning. I'm learning some things on the website in order to upload the model with all of its textures and animations. Still, I found some interesting things on that website. I plan to share my other 3D models, from aircraft to tanks, vehicles, weapons, buildings, animals and characters.
For planes, I plan to share the models in two sections: one as a static model or showing the landing gear animations and one as a flying model playing the propeller blades spinning.
The only doubt I have is sharing the WW2 German planes with or without the Hakenkreuz (the German Swastika). I know there are some people that shared their works and retained that icon as the tail fin flash in German planes from World War 2. I may share it with the uncensored version of the fin flash. Probably. Same goes for Finnish aircraft (Messerschmitt Bf 109G, Fiat G.50 Freccia, Brewster F2A Buffalo, Hawker Hurricane Mk I, Morane-Saulnier M.S.406 and the Mörkö-Morane, Gloster Gladiator and others).
The second thing to share you is that I changed the address to my Facebook page. Since I split the original content from my DeviantArt: TonyToriusImages, I decided to rename the page to TonyAnima Projects. Then I changed the name on the address. Although it may take some time for Google to redirect from the old to the new, I changed it on every social media I have until everything is ready for you to search it on Google.
Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you like this Blog. Welcome to 2024. Let us hope this year bring us new content and something different from the usual. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
