New video and new updates for: Panzer I - March 10, 2023
Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog here to start 2023. I know I've been absent for a while without a new Blog. I'm waiting for the results from the exam I performed on January 15, which is taking some time to be announced. Now that the job contract at the public health center has ended, I'm going to have all the time to study, do my personal things like Blender, Unity, literary works and finding a new job in the meantime. Yet, the town hall from where I live is calling more candidates qualified from the selective process to work at the health center. There's a chance they will call me to work at that place one more time. Who knows? Also, I'm waiting to be called to work as a teacher by the Government's selective process I assigned for a while. Both are great in case I'd receive some payment for my services and skills.
University is now in course, yet I won't have the same weight compared to the previous semesters where I had two virtual exams, four activities before the recorded classrooms, four activities after the classrooms to fix my knowledge, a forum where I share two different answers, four web learning materials, four recorded classrooms and one in-person exam (for those who are online, you perform it on the computer while your activity is monitored under no circumstance of changing the browser tab or the exam would be invalidated by attempted any forms of cheating). Instead I'm going to have two virtual exams, four web learning materials, four recorded classrooms and one in-person exam. I'm not sure there will be any interdisciplinary activities. Let's hope not.
With Nightwave intermission chapter at max level (level 30 to be precise), I don't have to waste my hours to perform more boring challenges. As I concluded the New War and the Angels of Zariman, the blocked challenges are now available in case I'd play with my brother on Zariman.
Disregarding Warframe, let's go to the important thing here in this Blog. For today, For today, I'm going to bring new videos I uploaded to my channel and new images of the Panzer I Ausf. A.
Now, let's go to the images of the Panzer I:
The Panzer I received its final components and reworks at some existing pieces. Like for example: the gun matlet, the engine shield, the hand crank 'thing', the fire extinguisher, a new barbed wire cutter, some clamps for the axe and shovel, a new engine crank access port, wooden box appended from the Panzer IV, Nova Technik rear lights (I guess it's called by that while I was searching for the rear lights) and more components related to towing tanks / vehicles / artillery pieces. Taking the moment after the rear light was done, I appended it to my Kübelwagen, but that will be for another Blog.
For one thing, this German light tank is now ready to receive its texture and Armature. But before I plan to rig it, I had to apply some modifiers like the Mirror and the Subdivision Surface. I had the idea of applying the Subdivision Surface on the tracks in order to make Blender a little lighter.
And now, the renders of this Panzer I with texture for the tracks, suspension system and chassis.
Amazing. My brother helped me with some idea for an interesting material of unclean metal parts, all covered in mud, dirt and sand. I tried my best to make a texture of dirt on Gimp 2 after he suggested me to make it in separate images while we used different Nodes to be attached by Add Shader Node.
Don't mind if it's a little darker than before. William advised me to lower the light intensity and change the angles. I had to change it in almost all my Blender project files.
Despite that, the Panzer I looks good. I added some scratches around the turret and some metal plates connecting each other. The idea is to give some wearing effect. Same thing for the smoke and some oil coming from the fuel port. However, they are a little bit invisible. We might change it.
Another noticeable change was the German marking on the chassis. Although there are different ways they painted the Wehrmacht emblems on the Panzer I, I decided to duplicate it for the forward section of the chassis while the previous decal will be reserved for other thing. I don't know, maybe I plan to add a Griffin like in Heroes & Generals. The next components to receive a texture are the turret, the tow hooks, the lights, the hatches clamps and the pair of Maschinengewehr 13. The tools will remain the same. I may do its own texture in a separate project.
Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
