New updates for: Tiger I and Panzer IV - February 16, 2023
Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog here to start 2023. I know I've been absent for a while without a new Blog. I'm waiting for the results from the exam I performed on January 15, which is taking some time to be announced. Now that the job contract at the public health center has ended, I'm going to have all the time to study, do my personal things like Blender, Unity, literary works and finding a new job in the meantime. Yet, the town hall from where I live is calling more candidates qualified from the selective process to work at the health center. There's a chance they will call me to work at that place one more time. Who knows? Also, I'm waiting to be called to work as a teacher by the Government's selective process I assigned for a while. Both are great in case I'd receive some payment for my services and skills.
University is now in course, yet I won't have the same weight compared to the previous semesters where I had two virtual exams, four activities before the recorded classrooms, four activities after the classrooms to fix my knowledge, a forum where I share two different answers, four web learning materials, four recorded classrooms and one in-person exam (for those who are online, you perform it on the computer while your activity is monitored under no circumstance of changing the browser tab or the exam would be invalidated by attempted any forms of cheating). Instead I'm going to have two virtual exams, four web learning materials, four recorded classrooms and one in-person exam. I'm not sure there will be any interdisciplinary activities. Let's hope not.
With Nightwave intermission chapter at max level (level 30 to be precise), I don't have to waste my hours to perform more boring challenges. As I concluded the New War and the Angels of Zariman, the blocked challenges are now available in case I'd play with my brother on Zariman.
Disregarding Warframe, let's go to the important thing here in this Blog. For today, I'm going to show the new renders of the Panzer VI Tiger I Ausf. E and the Panzer IV Ausf. F2(G).
Panzer VI Ausf. E Tiger I:
The Tiger I received new changes on its gun mantlet, commander hatch and suspension system. A while ago I was working on the mantlet in order to get a desired result since I enjoy a little of realism. Compared to my previous update, that component looks amazing.
The wheels also received the same treatment. One thing I noticed, the models E and H1 have different wheel configurations. I'll show you by images I found on Google.
Tiger I Ausf. E |
Tiger I Ausf. H1 |
As you can see, the second wheel from the E model is placed behind the teeth from the first and the third wheel while in the H1 model it placed in front of these wheels. Another difference between the two models are the commander cupola, the engine exhaustion outlet system and accessories like the gas canister, forward lights (2 in the H1 model and 3 in the E model). One thing I learned, the Tiger H1 was the first operational model from August 1942 to March 1943, then the E model entered in service from the same date to September 1944. One of the operational Tigers that survived WW2, the Tiger 131, is from the H1 series. Few other models that are in display in museums are from the H1 and E models. To distinguish one model from another is by the wheels.
Now, back to the renders. I also included a wooden box from the Panzer IV. Probably it was used to carry ammunition, weapons, tools or spare parts to fix the Tiger.
The next components are the tools, the forward lights, the other wires, a rework on the tracks, a mounted MG 42 on the turret, other components and a Zimmerit coating texture. For the H1 model, I'll make its commander cupola, the engine outlet system and the gas canister.
Panzer IV Ausf. F2(G):
The Panzer IV received new changes after my last update. The first one is the turret side hatches, the engine cooling ducts on the middle chassis, a new component for the Maybach engine outlet system and a new antenna. One thing I want to highlight is: This Panzer IV is using the Oarai Girls' Academy decals for Miho's Panzer IV and the 75 mm KwK 40 cannon is from the original F2 model. Although I haven't watched Girls und Panzer, I recall Miho's Panzer IV started as D model with that 75 mm KwK 37 short cannon. Then she retrofitted to F2 model it with the 75 mm KwK 40 cannon and the H model with the Schürzen spaced armor around the turret and chassis.
The transmission hatches received some locking pins / latches. In addition, I made an engine hand-crank, some hooks, a double-mouth wrench and a fire extinguisher. The antenna and its resting place has been reworked, and the temporary material for the Maybach engine outlet system has been changed for a red-copper with gray stains. Of all projects, I think the tanks are the only ones with high detail, or as some people would say: low to high-poly.
Other components to include are other working tools like shovels, crowbars and cutting barbed wires, a rework on the chassis, a good painting and rigging the tank. For the H and J models, I'll make its Schürzen spaced armor around the turret and chassis (in the J model, the Schürzen would only protect the turret while the commanding tanks would use a mail / metal grid spaced armor). I'm not sure I plan to make minor adjustments to make some deformed plates after battle.
Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
