New updates for: Heinkel He 111 and Panzer IV - October 24, 2022

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog in 2022. We are now on October 24 - approaching the end of 2022; hoping for the things to get better. Now that I'm working and studying, my time for Blogs decreased to some occasions and some weekends.

For this month and for the next ones, I will focus my attention on my university semester and the new weekly tasks and my job (which are quite stressful but I'm used to. Haha. After that, I think I'll take a break from university and public exams as soon as I settle down for good). I'm not sure what will happen after December 31 - if the mayor, the administrative director and my employer can extend my contract at the public health center further or it will officially end. At least I can rest after that and find other thing to do for a living.

Alright. With nothing else to add, let's go for the Blog. For today, I'm going to bring new images of the Heinkel He 111 and the Panzer IV Ausf F2(G).

Heinkel He 111 H model (H-1 / H-3 / H-6):

The Heinkel He 111 now counts with a bomber wing squadron emblem - the Kampfgeschwader 2 'Holzhammer' (mallet / wooden hammer). Despite this unit operated only the Dornier Do 17, Dornier Do 217 and the Junkers Ju 188, I selected the KG 2 emblem for test after remaking it on Gimp 2 due to the low image quality and the JPG format - which wouldn't work nice with the decal materials I made. In the future I may change it for the KG 4 'General Wever' or the KG 26 'Löwengeschwader' (Lions Wing). I'm not sure I plan to include the KG 54 'Totenkopf' (skull / Death's Head) emblem.

Aside from the emblem, the other change was the greenhouse framing receiving a nice texture and the engine exhaustion soot / smoke on the wings and the engine housing. Although I updated the texture after these renders, I plan to render this German medium bomber once it is rigged. Other than that, the letters and numbers on its fuselage and wings.

Panzer IV Ausf. F2(G):

The Panzer IV received new changes after my previous Blog (Panzer IV (new project) - October 19, 2022). The major changes were the turret and the storage box, a new gun mantlet, the sights on the turret and chassis, a metal casing for the spare wheels (located on the left side of the chassis), a small rework on the middle section from the Panzer IV, a new Maybach engine exhaustion outlet, more roadwheels and a coaxial MG 34 coaxial ball pod. Now it's looking good.

I plan to include the tracks, but first I must conclude the suspension system and the rear section of the Panzer IV. In addition, other components to include are the antenna, the hatches, the working tools like axes and shovels, the decals (I can re-use it from the Panzer I), a rework on the chassis, a good painting and rigging the tank. In case I would make its later versions, I'll include the Schürzen spaced armor around the turret and chassis, the smoke canisters and a Zimmerit coating texture. For the variants, the only changes are the turret's replacement for a fixed steel plating and a gun for the respective roles (big cannons for StuG / Jagdpanzer / Nashorn / Hummel; Flak for Flakpanzer; and mortar for Sturmpanzer).

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
