New updates for: Heinkel He 111, Hurricane Mk I and Bf 110C-7 - September 20, 2022

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog in 2022. We are now on September 20 - past the half of 2022; hoping for the things to get better. Now that I'm working and studying, my time for Blogs decreased to some occasions and some weekends.

For this month, my university semester is in course - in which my attention will have to be re-directed to the new tasks, in addition to my studies and job (which are quite stressful but I'm used to. Haha. After that, I think I'll take a break from university and public exams as soon as I settle down for good).

Alright, With nothing else to add, let's go for the Blog. For today, I'm going to bring new images of the Heinkel He 111, the Hawker Hurricane and the Messerschmitt Bf 110.

Heinkel He 111 H model (H-1 / H-3 / H-6):

The He 111 received some changes after my last updates on the project. In this one, I made the ailerons and the doors from the engine housing for the landing gear. I noticed some gaps on the wings - reason is: since I'm going to make its interior, I'm not going to make the vertices from the base to connect with its mirroring side. Also, I plan to make the bomb bay doors - which will be a little tricky.

Another change was: more metal frames around the greenhouse canopy and the return of the engine exhaustion outlets from the H-1 / H-3 models instead the one from the H-6 and H-12 models. I plan to make the later versions of the He 111 after this one.

For the last renders of the He 111, I made the flaps and a small test with the engine housing doors. Now this German medium bomber is looking good. The only things to do to conclude it are: the bomb bay and the doors, the plane's interior, more windows and hatches, rigging it and a nice texture.

Hawker Hurricane Mk I:

The Hawker Hurricane received some adjustments on the landing gears - from the wings to the tail plane. Also, I added the Pitot tube after appending it from the Spitfire - with some slight modifications.

For the last renders, I made the navigation lights from the wing tips. I must confess, it was a little pain to adjust the vertices and edges around the lights in order to avoid excess of subdivisions. I know there are some ways in making smart subdivisions in case you want nice surfaces and less-to-none gaps from the subdivisions. Since I don't use them a lot, these are the results. But it looks good.

In addition, I adjusted the canopy and the upper section of the fuselage. Now the Hurricane is looking nice - almost identical to the original British plane. The big downside for schematics / blueprints from the Wikipedia are the location disproportions from one angle to another.

The next components are: the flaps and ailerons, the space from the wings for the landing gear, the decals for letters and numbers on the fuselage, rigging the plane and a nice texture.

Messerschmitt BF 110 C-7:

Like the Heinkel He 111, I made the doors with the extracted pieces from the engine housing, then I duplicated for a small test of the doors open for the landing gear in land mode. So far, so good. Other changes were the circular antenna and some sort of an antenna.

The next components are: the ailerons and the flaps, the oil radiators located under the wings, the bombs hardpoints, the cockpit internal components (disregarding the panel and the gunsight) like the seat for the pilot and gunner; applying the Mirror Modifier for the other side of the wing in case of leaving one side with the air intake and the landing light, rigging the plane and a nice texture. I may include the Zerstörergeschwader (the destroyer wing squadron) emblem on the plane's nose or a shark mouth decal. In the future, in case I would make the Nachtjäger (night fighter) version of the Bf 110, I'll include the FuG 220 "Lichtenstein" SN-2 and FuG 202 "Lichtenstein" B/C radar antennas on the plane's nose, in addition to the twin MG FF/M installed in Schräge Musik position and some modified engine exhaustion outlets.

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
