A small test for: Clare and Antony's Triviality characters - March 20, 2022

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog here to start 2022. I know I've been absent for a while without a new Blog. Now that I'm working and studying, my time for Blogs decreased to some occasions and some weekends. I'm not sure what the future holds after my work at the public health center ends in August of this year. But one thing is certain: Until they call me effectively, I need to dedicate a good part of my time to the next civil service exams.

For this week and forward, Warframe introduced the new Nightwave chapter and again, my time with Blender projects will be shortened. Damn. Although my brother and I can reserve the night to perform some of the challenges to acquire the points and level up the tiers before going to bed, it will speed up some things in order to avoid exhausting me splinting my attention between two profiles and perform all those repetitive tasks.

For this Blog, I'm going to share you something new. You guys remember I uploaded some renders of my new 3D human characters made on Blender. Right?

In case not, I'll share some of the images I uploaded to the final Blog of 2021 (2021 Retrospective and Happy Holidays)

They are pretty. Don't you agree? I could upload more of them here, but it would be for another topic, plus, I said I won't share all the renders because of the nature of the content for them. The reason for that is: when I started the 2nd attempt of making the female character, I wanted something closer to a realistic anatomic proportion. Including some of the sensitive parts of the human body.

I could do another version of the model without these parts, but it kinda loses a small portion of the essence I tried to seek, you understand me.

Enough of that, let's go to the important thing for this Blog. I tried in a different Blender new file the new model with Clare's armor pieces, sword and torso from the original Blender 2.8 format as part of my idea of a possible rework of the Claymore characters. The results looked like this:

She looks interesting with the torso, sword and armor pieces like the spaulders, buckles and few other components.

If you take a good look of Clare from the original project in Blender 2.8 with this one, you'll see the face looks pretty different.
Clare made in Blender 2.8

Clare made in Blender 2.93.5

Comparing the old version with the new version, Clare's head looks a bit flat since I tried to make Priscilla's head with the original images I found in Claymore Wikipedia. Although I tried several attempts of making a human head and some didn't achieved the desired results. Same thing when I tried to make the head for the female character as part of my 2nd attempt of a human character, this time it had some disproportions and some results compared with the old version.

Now that question: Do you plan to make a reworked version of the entire character?
If I have spare-time and nothing else to drag my attention away from Blender like job, studies for another civil service exam and graduation, I guess I plan to put it into action. The only thing to do before doing that is: adjusting the Weight Painting and Armature of the character. Then I'll make the uniform and tuxedo garment and adjust the armor pieces into the character.

I also plan to make the others that I already made, including Priscilla. I may also make her Awakened form and the Yoma.

And now, the characters from my original fanfiction: Antony's Triviality - Carry you Home.

Antony

He looks interesting wearing this Karategi and Kuro-Obi. The blue segment of the kimono is part of Antony's original suit in Antony's Triviality. I plan to include him some boots, his original blue mantle with golden pieces and his main sword: Archeus from World of WarCraft.

He's also rigged and can perform some expressions.

The last renders of him were part of my idea of making a new montage while I was listening to some emotional / sad music. I also included a mustache at some renders. After that, I selected some images of him for the montage.

Probably I plan to remake his hair to make it curly because of my original hairstyle; or to keep it for Antony since I made it a bit short and straight. Other thing to conclude him is the skin color and rigging the clothing.

Suh / Suelen

One of the female characters from Antony's Triviality. While I was playing a little with hairstyles and mix shaders for the eye colors, I kinda made one that could remind me of my friend that departed a long time (September 2nd of 2010). I tried my best to render her based in one of the photos I have of her, despite her shirt is different - with the original one being a black and white striped T-shirt. I'll remake the shirt for her.

And for fun, I decided to render her at different angles.

She looks beautiful. I imagine what it would be looking like when the models are complete and ready to be part of my upcoming animations. I imagine I can reuse the same hairstyle and model for her sister Sabrina in case I would make some of the scenes from Carry you Home.

In case you want to see the montage with some of the renders of these two characters, I'll share it under this text.

Pretty nice, despite a portion of it is a reflection from my saddest moments of my life. I don't have Furir-Sho made on Blender which I used one of the scenes from the manga adaptation to this montage. I'll make him in the future.

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
