New updates for: Albatros D.III and concluding Sopwith Pup - September 22, 2025

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog in 2025. We are now on September 22 - past the half of 2025.

The year is going by fast. The following days will be pretty long due to work and vacations are scheduled for October. At least it would be nice to have a month to rest after several days of work. I'll finally be able to get back to my other projects during the holidays.

And, again, new Nightwave chapter is still on, but my brother and I have reached level 30 after several performed challenges. As usual. (: /)

Let's go for what it's important than Warframe. For this Blog, I'm going to share you the recent images of the Albatros D.III and the Sopwith Pup.

Albatros D.III:

The German Albatros D.III received minor changes related to the upper wings and the V-like struts. So far it's looking good. I may need to adjust other components from this German sesquiplane.

The next thing to do is making the radiator on top of it. Some OAW D.III sesquiplanes have a curved rudder. I plan to add it as well. After that, I'll rig these two planes and paint it. And of course, I'll paint the D.III in red for Manfred's red plane, as well the other planes from the Flying Circus.

Sopwith Pup:

I decided to continue working on the British biplane. Since a considerable number of components were appended from the Camel / Triplane, I don't have the need of remaking the UV Mapping, especially the rudder, elevator and the undercarriage wheels.

The first component to receive a nice texture is the fuselage. Just like the Triplane, I painted the areas for the metallic surfaces with Masks - especially for the engine cowling and footstep. The roundels were also included to the texture.

For the next renders, I'm going to show you the biplane with a new texture for the wings and wooden struts.

Alright. The Sopwith Pup is now ready. Like the fuselage, the wings received a nice texture and roundels. I probably plan to add the roundels from the other nations that operated the Pup.

In addition to these, I added the textures for the Bump, Weathering, Metal and Specular for the aircraft. Now it's looking great.

Just like my previous World War I planes, the Sopwith Pup is now ready and its model is available at Sketchfab.

After the Albatros D.II and Albatros D.III, the upcoming WWI planes, the ones in mind are:
* Albatros D.V;
* Nieuport 17 and 28;
* Fokker E.III and D.VII;
* Gotha G.V; and
* Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI.

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you like this Blog. Let us hope this year bring us new content and something different from the usual. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
