New updates for: Bf 110C-7, concluding the Tempest Mk V and new models in Sketchfab - December 15, 2024

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog in 2024. We are now on December 15 - approaching the end of 2024.

I know. I've been absent without writing anything new here. Job, studies, playing video-games, watching some YouTube videos, listening to some musics and doing my chores at some moments decreased my spare-time dedicated to Blogs.

I'm now working on the new role as health community agent and now, my colleagues and I are visiting the families as part of our job to improve the health quality in our community and town. Things are looking good and we're enjoying in our new role.

The 8th semester is finished. Another thing I won't be bothered with. After the second university, I'll give a break for good.

And, again, new Nightwave chapter is complete and the 1999 quest has been released to the game. I plan to bring the gameplay from that quest for the next week in my gaming channel.

Note: I don't share too often my gaming content in my Blogs. I don't like the idea of mixing gaming content with other artistic contents there or to relate anything in kind.

Enough of that. Let's go. For this Blog, I'm going to share you some news and more images of the Messerschmitt Bf 110 C-7 and the Hawker Tempest Mk V.

Messerschmitt Bf 110 C-7:

The Bf 110 received a minor change on its colors for the main texture. Looks good for the time being. But the major update was the rigging. With a new Armature imported from the Heinkel He 111 (with minor changes and adjustments), the German heavy fighter can now be animated for future projects. Still, I plan to conclude the other textures like the Bump, Specular and Metal.

For fun, I'll share you some renders of the Bf 110 engaging the Avro Lancaster bomber.

Amazing, huh? Although it's for a small test and the German heavy fighter is still in development, I decided to play a little bit - re-enacting the nocturne aerial battles over Germany (inspired in Martin Drewes' or Heinz Wolfgang-Schnaufer's reports).

Interesting detail about the German fighter, the Bf 110 is using the propeller spinner from the G-2 / G-4 version and the FuG 220 and FuG 202 Lichtenstein radar antennas. I've planned of making the night version of the Bf 110 during its development. At the moment I don't have the cannons for the 'Schräge Musik' - which will be made after the C-7's conclusion.

Also, I plan to remake these renders in the future.

Hawker Tempest Mk V:

The Tempest Mk V received a major update on its textures. The decals that were once separate objects are now part of the main texture. I tried to adjust the smoke with Gimp, but I had to disable the Node for a moment while rendering the images.

I also include the other decals for Clostermann's score, Le Grand Charles (the Great Charles) and the badge for No. 3 Squadron of the Royal Air Force with the words Tertius primus erit (The third shall be the first). Minor adjustments were made for the animations, but most of it are finished.

With the Tempest finished, the 3D models is available in my Sketchfab (even before its conclusion):

At moment, I'll not upload the new renders to ArtStation. The idea is to have a considerable number of concluded projects in order to upload the renders to ArtStation. Plus, there are some requests made there for a North American B-25 Mitchell and Boeing B-29 Superfortress (often misspelled as B-29 Stratoter - which would be the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress; not to mention the Douglas A-20 Havoc, Ilyushin IL-76, Antonov An-22 and WW2 Soviet bombers).

For now, I'll take a short break with new posts on ArtStation until I conclude my previous projects before starting any of these (with the B-29 in development). Also, I may start the F-4 Phantom II as my next Blender timelapse series in YouTube. But that would be for the next year (2025).

Back to Sketchfab. I uploaded more planes to my gallery of 3D models, despite some of them still in development / correction.

The models are:

Although I usually don't share too much my firearms here in this Blog, I'll open an exception. Plus, I have plans to bring new content related to my Unity projects in my other Blogspot: TonyGamingProjects. Due to the lack of new ideas of adding to my mini-games, I'll resume them once I have my 3D models ready and re-calibrated.

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you like this Blog. Let us hope this year bring us new content and something different from the usual. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
