New video and updates for: Avro Lancaster B Mk III and P-40N - February 28, 2022

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog here to start 2022. I know I've been absent for a while without a new Blog. Now that I'm working and studying, my time for Blogs decreased to some occasions and some weekends. I'm not sure what the future holds after my work at the public health center ends in August of this year. But one thing is certain: Until they call me effectively, I need to dedicate a good part of my time to the next civil service exams.

For this Blog, I recently uploaded a new video for TonyAnima Projects' YouTube channel, continuing the Avro Lancaster Mk III project on Blender.

It's looking nice after the last video I uploaded on YouTube. After I recorded the first part of the video, I made a pause for lunch, then I decided to make a part two. Also, I rendered the Lancaster prior and after that pause.

The Lancaster prior to my time for lunch. It has the wings and tail made, along a temporary texture for its upper side of the plane and a black painted layer for its lower side.

I would like to apologize if someone complains for the lack of lighting at some spots from the Lancaster. I plan to correct this issue for the next renders.

The Lancaster after my lunch. It has the Rolls-Royce Merlin engines, the propellers, the top and rear turret made. I plan to make the guns for the turrets along the landing gears, the carriage doors, the bomb bay doors, the RAF markings, the aerial attachments, the Pitot tube, the antenna and other components - and its interior.

Before concluding this Blog, there's one more thing to show you. I was working on the P-40 Warhawk yesterday. I decided it is time to add an Armature and rig it.

The Warhawk is now rigged and has the P-51 Mustang cockpit components like the gunsight, the panel, the stick, the pilot seat and the armored headrest. I also appended the Great Britain fin flash (the 'flag' located at the tail fin) for the RAF P-40 since a considerable number of these air fighters were exported from the United States to Britain as part of the Lend-Lease program to supply the British pilots to fight the Germans and Italians during the Mediterranean Theater.

I plan to make a separated texture for the panel and a nice texture for the plane's fuselage and wings - both the American, the British, the Brazilian, the Soviet and the Flying Tigers (American-Chinese task force that fought the Japanese in China and in the Pacific) version.

Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
