New Updates for: IL-2 - March 7th, 2021
Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog during this quarantine phase while the World makes their best to find a (possible) cure for the COVID-19 pandemic. And since this year is starting to unfold for us, nothing like a good Blog to entertain you.
For this Blog, I'm going to talk about new adjustments of the Ilyushin IL-2 Sturmovik. I know. I've been busy with other things and like I always do when I start different new projects and leave some of the existing ones still. But today, I made new components and small adjustments on the Soviet aircraft.
I finally made the cockpit frames and windows for the aircraft, along the Pitot Tube, the Berezin UBT machine gun for the rear gunner, the wings and the antenna. I also included some framings on the windows and the reinforced glass. I have no idea what they are called, but I remember it from some photos and games like War Thunder and IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad / Bodenplatte / Great Battles and others.
Speaking on IL-2 Sturmovik, I finally bought that game when it was on sale at Steam. Unfortunately I learned the P-38 Lightning is a Premium aircraft in Battle of Bodenplatte along the FW 190 D-9. I guess I'll have to wait for the next opportunity to buy those aircraft.
Back to my Ilyushin IL-2. The next components to be made are the landing gear, complete the cockpit hatch, the ailerons, the flaps, the instrument panel, the aerial attachments, the rockets hack, painting the aircraft and rigging it.
Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you enjoy this Blog. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
