A little halted and New updates for: P-38 Lightning - July 20, 2019

Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another blog here. For this Blog I'm going to give you some 'bad', yet good news.

Recently my brother and I found a job in the city we live. We always have the thing of finding a job in mind while William has started his graduation. The only thing I could say 'bad' is: I'm going to have only the end of days and the weekends to attend my projects, with the mornings and afternoons working. Despite this, it's a good thing this opportunity appeared. For now, so far so good.

As some of you know, because I have two channels on YouTube - one for gaming and the other for 3D works content, unfortunately I will have to drastically reduce the times of disposal with the content of games due to the weekends (the days which I consider doubtful to record a gameplay), working only on my 3D projects, drawing and literature works.

Alright. Enough of these, let me show you what I did on the P-38 Lightning project in these last days:

I included the alloy plate pieces around the canopy and made some adjustments on the rudders as you can see on the last three renders. I used Boolean modifier on Blender for making this little cut. The last two renders of the P-38 shows the rudders changing rotation. I made a small test with bones attached to the flight controllers (ailerons, rudders and elevator) - just to have an idea for what would be like rigging the aircraft. I only have the elevator and the rudders working nicely, while I'll have to work out on the ailerons, landing gear and the flaps (on planning). Still, it's looking good.

In case you like the project, I made a small Slidebook with all the renders from the project. The link will be available down of the image.

Probably in the future - after we (my brother and I) finish the P-38 project, I plan to make the other aerial fighters from World War 2 - like the Messerschmitt BF 109 E-4 variant, Focke-Wulf FW 190 D9 'Long-Nose Dora', Messerschmitt ME 262, P-51 Mustang D variant, Supermarine Spitfire Mk V and Mk IX, Mitsubishi A6M Zero, Yakovlev Yak-9 and some others. With these fighters along the P-38, this is going to be one of the greatest parties ever done.

I hope you like it. I plan to share more artworks and other things I did in my time with the P-38 project, which I added more things in the current stage. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see it. See you next time.
