Long absence, Ardra (my RTS game), Instagram as private profile and resuming the Stuka in Blender 5.2.0 - November 1st, 2026
Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog in 2026. We are now on November 1st - past the half of 2026.
I know. I've been absent without writing anything new here. This year has been a bit rough and it affected me to some extend. Julie's demise, job applications (I'm still employed as a public servant, but some minor things happened that made me want to move on) and other personal things that didn't go well and drove me into depression. I usually don't talk about it at home, but it's a thing that I accepted a long time ago. But now I'm doing alright.
I've been studying for the new civil service exam. I'm going to apply for the clerk vacancy. That means I'm going to lay low with my usual routine (Blender, fanfics, Unity, drawings and other things). The exam is scheduled on December 6th. Let's hope for some outstanding results after the exam, since the idea is to move on.
Personally, I don't have anything against the current job (public community health agent), but, there were some things that happened and drove me down. That's why I want to move on or to take a break from it. My vacations are scheduled on January 4th, 2027 (previously scheduled on November. Yet, it's another long story).
Also, there's another one that is still in debate for authorizing the exam applications, which is the Social Security Technician and the Social Security Analysts for the INSS. These two are promising, even though I intend to apply for the Technician one. Until then, I'll have to resume my studies.
Before going to the important thing, I have an announcement: I've decided to set my Instagram profile to private.
Question: Why?
After I uploaded an image of the USS Enterprise CV-6 (famous American aircraft carrier) and telling its story to celebrate its 90 years of launch, I received several "like" notifications from what appeared to be automated accounts (bots). These profiles featured photos of young women, had little to no post history, and some even included links—a clear giveaway that they were bots. I blocked them, but I know it's a concerning thing.
For that, I set my profile to private. It's not my habit to go around making humorous comments, but, if these bot accounts were real girls, I would say they're "too hot" for my tastes (lol). Jokes aside, I advise you to be careful.
Those who still follow me, will continue seeing my works (from sketches, digital arts and 3D renders). For those who are not following, I'm sorry folks, but, it was necessary. I may leave the link for you in case you want to follow me there, but I'll have to approve the invitation for following me. I recommend to follow me on my other places aside from Insta and Facebook (my pages and private profile are disabled due to my depression).
Now, to the business. I've been active on my other Blogspot: Antony B.Arn GameDev Studios (formerly known as TonyGamingProjects). As you know, I've been working on Ardra (my RTS game) - mostly the characters, units, buildings, resources, props, weapons. And, since I'm the only person that made most of the things, including the coding, artworks and more, the pace and concentration have been demanding. But it's looking good.
Here's the link to the videos and the Blogspot:
And to conclude this Blog, I want to announce that I resumed the Junkers Ju 87 Stuka on Blender 5.2.0 LTS. Currently I don't have any renders of the aircraft in its current stage. The last thing made was the Bump texture. I'll add the decals and weathering - especially the paint worn out on the wings and fuselage.
As I said on my previous Blog, I'm saving most of the current models made with the 2.8 and 2.93.5 versions to the 5.2.0 version. The idea is to keep the original files from the previous versions while making the corrections and adjustments in the 5.2.0. For newer projects, I'll use the recent version.
Any plans for 2027?
Yeah, I got plenty of plans for the upcoming year. One in mind is resuming my original projects - mainly my WW1 and WW2 planes, firearms, tanks, vehicles, 3D characters, props and more. Maybe, in the future, I plan to bring other content to this Blogspot. One in mind is Warhammer 40K, resuming my Claymore characters and civilian vehicles.
Well, that's it for now my friends. I hope you like this Blog. Let us hope this year bring us new content and something different from the usual. In case I have some spare time to enjoy, I'll be working on other things aside from Blender projects and my personal things. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see them. See you next time.
